Bracelet of the Day: Jolie Band - Blue & Ivory

JOLIE BAND
  • 15/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457)
  • 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457)
  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457)
  • 6mm 2-hole cabochons "Chalk White Baby Blue Luster"
  • Arcos® par Puca® beads "Opaque Beige Luster"
  • Minos® par Puca® beads "Opaque Beige Luster"

I bought these blue cabochons recently only to find that they're kind of difficult to match up with other beads. I think they go quite nicely with these ivory Arcos and Minos beads.

Download Deborah Roberti's free "Jolie Bands" pattern from Around the Beading Table HERE. You can get the Arcos® par Puca® and Minos® par Puca® beads at QueenCityBead on Etsy. Red Panda has a good assortment of 2-hole cabochons and also the Arcos and Minos beads.

  1. Very pretty, Linda.I really like winter white and this would go perfect with my dress.Yesterday I thought I would buy a few of the new beads. Good Lord! $15.00 for 10gm Toho demi round. With shipping and exchange that would come to about $20.00 for me. I don't mind paying for nice beads but these things are not even nice Ha Ha...but the pattern was free. LOL

    1. They're definitely not worth that much. I generally don't make any bracelets that cost more than a couple of dollars to make and I try to only buy beads that I know I will use. If I buy any expensive beads, I only use them to make patterns that use them sparingly. And, when it comes to patterns, I try to only buy ones that I know I will use more than once and I want to know up front what kinds of beads are needed to make the pattern or I won't buy it.
